Navigating the next four years is not going to be easy. It will require an immense amount of patience and smarts, but silence is not an option.

I’m excited to share that I recently presented at the Sharp Spatial Computing Health Care Summit in San Diego (Jan 30-31, 2025), where I discussed “Dimensions of Delight: How Spatial Computing is Reshaping the Consumer Experience.”

The most inspiring part? Hearing directly from healthcare professionals about real-world impacts: • Surgeons describing increased confidence and capability in the OR, while also becoming better teachers through spatial computing’s ability to share their exact perspective • Heart-warming stories from oncologists about how virtual visits are transforming the experience for pediatric radiation patients in isolation, keeping them connected with loved ones during challenging times • Virtual care clinicians demonstrating how they’re managing complex patient information more intuitively and effectively in 3D space • Family medicine physicians sharing their workflow breakthroughs - from running Epic Hyperspace on macOS to utilizing ultra-widescreen displays in visionOS for more efficient and comfortable charting

In my talk, I explored how spatial computing is evolving beyond entertainment, with a particular focus on its transformative potential in healthcare.

A huge thank you to Sharp and Dr. Tommy Korn in particular for hosting this important conversation about the future of healthcare technology. On a recent trip to NYC, I was moved by a powerful parade of service men and women on horseback, part of the Brave Hearts’ Trail to Zero ride. It’s a mission to end veteran suicide—bringing awareness to the 20 veterans and active service members who tragically die by suicide every day.
This Veterans Day, we honor their sacrifice, not only on the battlefield but in the battles they face when they return home. The fight doesn’t end there. And for LGBTQIA+ and Black and Brown veterans, the numbers are even more staggering.

Let’s spotlight the importance of healing this Veteran’s Day.
